Children at Northwood Primary School are expected to wear school uniform as it promotes equality while also creating a sense of unity and belonging.

Uniform

Our uniform consists of the following:

  • white shirt/polo shirt
  • bottle green jumper
  • or bottle green cardigan
  • grey/black trousers or skirt
  • or a green or yellow, gingham dress
  • black school shoes
  • School book bag

In line with our uniform policy, children may wear earrings to school if they wish. We do however prohibit hooped earrings due to health and safety. We also ask that children do not wear any other form of jewellery to school, including necklaces or bracelets.

Uniform does not have to be branded and can be purchased from large retailers such as Sainsburys & Asda. These stores have non-branded uniform which is suitable for Northwood Primary School.

Finally, within the school office, we offer a range of pre-loved uniform that can be purchased. For this, we ask for a contribution you see as suitable.

P.E. Kit

Children will have PE lessons at least once a week. On these days, children will be expected to attend school in their PE kit.

Our PE Kit consists of the following:

  • Plain white t-shirt
  • Plain black jumper/ tracksuit top
  • Black shorts/tracksuit bottoms
  • Plimsoles or trainers

For safety, we would prefer that children do not wear earrings for PE lessons. If children wear earrings to school, they should remove them or will need them covering with tape.
